Noah’s Ark Child and Family Treatment Center will provide therapeutic counseling and support to accommodate consumers during non traditional business hours via designated Mental Health Professional on staff i.e. Alabama Licensed Psychiatrists and Psychologist’s, Alabama Licensed Therapist (LPC, LCSW, LMFT) and Master Level Clinicians that have a Master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work or any other related field. 

Program Services Include:
Assessment & Referral – on-call emergency call system to screen all after-hour referrals.


In-Home Counseling – Individual Counseling/ Family Counseling services

Parent Skills Training – Supervisor Trainee will provide parenting skills training during the allotted period of six to twelve weeks per request of immediate referral source, when necessary.

24-Hour Crisis Intervention – on call emergency call system to respond to all during and after hour crisis situations.

Life Skills Development – Community Support Individual will provide necessary skill building, activities and interventions at a rate of two to three times per week, per treatment plan.

Anger Management Skills - Supervisor Trainee will provide parenting skills training over a six to twelve week allotted period of time per request of immediate referral source, if necessary.

Individual Counseling- Where licensed therapist explores and process with the consumer issues related to their mental illness.

Family Counseling- Where licensed therapist explore and communicate with the consumer’s family and support system all issues that relate to the consumer’s mental illness and provide the family with coping methods. Family Training- Training families to learn ways to help the consumer cope with their mental illness.


Group Therapy- Group Therapy is for children and adults, encouraging interactive skill building, developing coping skills, and learning about personal triggers and sequences of behaviors in sage, confidential group setting under the direction and supervision of a clinically licensed therapist. 


The following services will be provided only by the Clinical Support Staff as indicated:

  • Formulate the Individual Resiliency Plan (IRP) for services to be delivered.  
  • Provide crisis intervention screening and evaluation services on a 24 hour 7 day a week basis.


  • Screen by telephone or face-to-face; and when indicated, provide face-to-face evaluation and intervention.


  • Participate as members of community crisis interventions to provide treatment assistance and coping methods.


  • Provide all mental health services.
